What is the opportunity? RBC Insurance (RBCI) strategy is to grow the business through operational excellence, increased enterprise connectivity, new digital capabilities, and amazing client experiences. Salesforce is one of the technologies that will be fundamental in enabling the Digital transformation required to deliver on this strategic direction. We are seeking for an experienced Salesforce Quality Engineering (QE) Lead to help define the test strategy across the Salesforce journey / program, plan, lead and execute the testing in respective squad and provide salesforce support to other squads as needed. You’ll be joining a diverse and inclusive agile lab delivering solutions on integrating RBCI systems with Salesforce’s Financial Cloud (SFC), Experience Cloud, and Lighting platform. What will you do?
Overall planning and execution of QE work within the assigned squads, including guiding other QE Analysts assigned to the squad.
Responsible for the design, plan, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive test coverage for Salesforce (SFC, Experience Cloud, including Lightning and Omnistudio platform)
Responsible for test automation throughout the application technology stack and look for opportunities to automate beyond just test cases.
Drive quality and champion defect prevention / early defect detection by adopting quality engineering practices.
Facilitate complex breakout sessions with RBC Insurance business and IT stakeholders, including offshore team members.
Develop deep domain knowledge and business logic, processes, flows, data flows and rules, for areas in scope along with hands-on test case creation and test execution.
Review test artifacts, ensuring QE processes and best practices are followed.
What do you need to succeed? Must have :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, or related (technical) degree / diploma & 5+ years of experience in a QE Lead role including 2+ years proven track record in Salesforce testing.
Experience in testing Salesforce Financial Cloud implementations, preferably in Insurance or other financial institutions.
Hands on experience working with the Workbench API tool and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL).
Experience writing E2E test scenarios for complex use cases / business requirements, involving multiple data sources and system interfaces.
Experience with Provar or other test automation tools / frameworks like; Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
Nice to have :
Certifications : Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201), Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (CRT 402), Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (CRT 450), ISTQB.
Automated Accessibility Testing with Salesforce’s sa11y or similar.
Experience in a variety of environments (cloud, distributed, business workflows, web services / APIs).
