PURPOSE

Mitsubishi Motors Canada is seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Technology Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team.

As a Marketing Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for leveraging technology to optimize marketing efforts, drive customer engagement, and enhance our overall marketing performance.

You will also have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be managing and implementing various marketing technologies, optimizing dataflows, and staying updated on emerging trends in marketing technology.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in marketing technology platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing technology management : you will be a key player in the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and enhancement of our tech stack, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, media, visualization, and other relevant tools.

Your role will be crucial in our continuous improvement mindset, as you will assess, evaluate, and implement platforms and tools to drive overall marketing efficiencies in collaboration with the team.

Data integration : ensure seamless integration and flow between internal and external marketing platforms. Build and implement data integration plans to automate and unify disparate datasets and ensure data consistency and accuracy.

Data quality assurance : assess and implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure integrated data's integrity, accuracy, and reliability.

Monitor data pipelines for errors, anomalies, or inconsistencies and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Security and compliance : your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g. CASL, Pipeda, Quebec’s Bill 25) and industry best practices for data security and confidentiality (e.

g. transfer of customer data personal information). You will collaborate with IT to conduct regular audits and assessments of data integration processes, emphasizing the importance of data accuracy and security in our operations.

Data governance : establish policies and procedures to govern integrated data assets' use, access, and management. Define data ownership roles and responsibilities, establish data quality standards, and create documentation outlining data integration workflows and protocols.

Partners’ management : coordinate data-related initiatives with internal departments, other Mitsubishi distributors, and business partners (tech partners, media vendors, ad techs, etc.

and manage the health of data platforms, integrations, and lead management process.

Marketing innovation : stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in business administration, information technology, data science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing robust marketing technology stacks.
  • In-depth B2C tech marketing experience with data integration experience, strong knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama), Websites’ Content Management System, and media and social platforms (Google, Meta).
  • A good understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, and attribution.
  • Demonstrated experience in running the governance of a large marketing automation platform.
  • Relevant certifications in marketing technology or related fields are desirable.
