Job duties :
- Greet and seat the patients in operatory with friendly professional demeanor
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following strict IPAC protocols
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chair side assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Obtain dental impressions or dental scan and pour models when needed and prepare case for lab pick up
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Assist in obtaining accurate patient records and update medical history
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent dental experience
- X-ray Harp certification required
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software, Tracker software experience beneficial
- Advantage if Team player and computer proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience :
- Previous dental experience preferred
- New graduate can apply with willingness to learn and train in all aspect of dentistry
