The Project Manager, Infrastructure and Cyber Security, oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of cybersecurity projects by defining objectives, creating detailed plans and schedules, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
The role is responsible for IT system implementations, ensuring compliance with standards, supporting cybersecurity strategies, responding to incidents, providing leadership, mentoring team members, facilitating communication, and reporting project progress to stakeholders.
Note : This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.
What you'll do
- Collaborates with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for infrastructure and cyber security initiatives.
- Develops detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to allocate tasks, track progress, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversees the implementation of IT infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, and cloud services. Offers technical guidance and support throughout all phases, from inception to rollout.
- Works closely with infrastructure teams to optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensures compliance with industry standards and best practices in infrastructure management and configuration.
- Supports the implementation of cybersecurity strategies, policies, and controls to protect critical assets and data, and assists with various cybersecurity initiative rollouts.
- Assists in conducting security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborates with cybersecurity teams to respond to incidents, investigate root causes, and implement corrective measures, providing technical guidance and facilitating communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Provides leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Mentors team members, providing technical expertise and professional development support as needed.
- Facilitates communication and knowledge sharing among team members to enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Communicates project status updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders, executives, and project sponsors.
- Prepares and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management regarding project progress and outcomes.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for external vendors, partners, and clients involved in infrastructure and cyber security projects.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, ITIL) preferred.
- 10 years+ of experience in project management, infrastructure management, or cyber security roles, with a focus on leading complex projects.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, networking principles, and cyber security concepts.
- Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization, and containerization platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The estimated salary for this position is $108,000 - $132,000. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate's skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity.
The final base salary offer will be at the Company's sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
