Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright / Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with preventative maintenance, and the ability to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment (pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics).
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and carry out timely repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Perform welding, cutting, fitting, and fabrication as required.
- Lubricate machinery and replace worn parts.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and lockout / tagout protocols.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability.
Requirements :
Valid Industrial Millwright certification (433A) or equivalent experience.3–5+ years of experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting.Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and mechanical systems.Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and work independently.Welding experience (MIG / TIG / Stick) is an asset.Ability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.Preferred Skills :
PLC / basic electrical knowledge (asset).Experience in food, steel, automotive, or heavy manufacturing environments.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.What We Offer :
