As the EAM Asset Data & Information Specialist, you will provide asset and data information expertise to the Enterprise Asset Management team and enterprise.

What you will do :

Guide and influence cross-enterprise stakeholders in the understanding, acceptance, and deployment of the enterprise asset data processes and systems.

Provide oversight and governance for asset and work data and information to the enterprise through the EAWM data governance structure.

Facilitate business change in support of the EAWM data strategy implementation.

Review cross-functional business processes, identify fit gaps, and propose remediation on data or potential system design needs.

Engage Business Subject Matter Experts to gather and derive enterprise asset data standards / guidelines and acknowledge business unit specific needs in these standards.

Maintain conceptual and logical data models for EAWM gathering input and agreement from data working groups.

Collaborate with Data Management Office, TIS Enterprise architecture and Operational teams to ensure solution compatibility with enterprise data standards through data working groups and council(s)

Facilitate cross-functional meetings / presentations with various levels of management.

Ensure processes and functions are compliant with business, regulatory and governance requirements.

Discover and document patterns and trends across multiple data sets and participate in activities related to data enhancements / enrichment.

Who you are : Required :

You have a related university degree (e.g., Business, Statistics / Math, Engineering, MBA or equivalent)

Seven or more years of related experience (e.g., Project Lead, Business Analyst, Asset Data Specialist, or similar role)

Knowledge of Asset Management principles as outlined by the Institute of Asset Management (IAM), Global Forum for Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM), and ISO Standards (ISO 5500x series)

Experience in data governance and management as well as best practices.

Proficient in querying, manipulating, and analyzing data using analysis and coding tools (Excel, Power BI, Power Query, SQL) from a variety of sources (ERP systems, Access / Oracle databases, Excel spreadsheets)

Knowledge of core business applications such as SAP, Oracle or Maximo that are relevant to ERP.

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to make decisions and recommendations.

Advanced communication skills demonstrated through previous experience (e.g. multi-disciplinary project meetings, leading group training sessions)

Preferred :

Knowledge of data governance software (e.g., Collibra) an asset

Experience in BPMN notation for process mapping and Agile methodology an asset.
