Job Description

The Marine Service and Engineering Specialist will work in the Technical Operations Division / Quality Engineering Department to improve sales and dealer / customer satisfaction by providing technical support (rigging, prop selection, engine / hull matching, performance testing) for marine dealers in Canada who are fitting or refitting Honda marine engines on to boats.

This will involve working closely with the techline group, the power sports and product engineering group, the training department, the marine sales team, and with the dealers directly as necessary.

In addition, they will work to boost accessory sales and dealer satisfaction by supporting the Honda Canada parts department with selection and appropriate inventory of marine components / accessories.

The successful candidate will also optimize quality and speed of dealer support and satisfaction by collaborating with American Honda (AH) Application Engineering team and increase sales through support efforts to establish and maintain a Honda marine engine supply relationship with OEM boat builders in Canada.
