Our client, an established and well reputed Canadian Industrial Manufacturer is seeking a methodical QA Inspector for their Richmond Hill facility.

This role is responsible for examining in-process products, and equipment to ensure that product produced conforms to acceptance criterion defined and quality standards applicable.

The Role :

• Inspect and verify tooling and products at various stages of production with operators to ensure compliance to quality requirements
• Audit / Verify the compliance of subcontracted operations
• Make sure process is followed while sending products for outside processes and upon receiving back. Verify all documents and records along with the workflow
• Collect data and record all facts for nonconforming parts
• Read and operate measuring instruments and verify the instruments are fit for intended use
• Assist inspection process and notify supervisors or engineering of production issues as per department directives
• Verify before shipment all records as per the job ticket and authorize shipment after verification
• Ensure all Safety Rules and Regulations are followed at all times
• Attend daily departmental meetings
• Operate equipment in a safe manner, including to immediately report any equipment malfunction

The Ideal Candidate :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferably heavy industrial
• Ability to read blueprints would be an asset
• Overhead Crane Operator certified, or willing to be trained
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to multi-task and highly organized
• Able to lift 46lbs and capable of standing for long periods of time
