Mary Brown's Chicken is looking for 10-15 individuals to join our New Store Opening team!
- This position is open to individuals who are currently a part of a Mary Brown's Stores only, with at least one year of experience working with the brand.
- You will need your manager's referral to apply! Please check in with your manager first.
- Opportunity open to Franchise or Corporate store employees.

Compensation : Receive $200 per day (inclusive of vacation pay) in addition to other expenses being covered

The NSO Trainer’s core purpose is to provide support to new store openings in assigned region(s). The NSO Trainer ( trainer ) will be training new franchisees and their teams on all operational, administrative and supervisory duties offering hands on training.
Further to that, the trainer will also ensure that all Mary Brown’s standards and protocols are followed throughout the training phase and all health and safety protocols are followed.
The person in this role will be on assignment for the time needed to open new stores which ranges from 10-14 consecutive days for each assignment.
Essential functions
Duties :
- Conduct high-standard training for new franchise employees on day-to-day procedures.
- Ensure all Mary Brown’s operational and administrative procedures and standards are adhered to.
- Collaborate with Corporate Training Director to identify company training needs and ways to improve effective training.
- Supervise trainees, evaluate performances and make recommendations.
- Provide timely feedback to Trainer on site.
- Ensuring all governmental and health and safety regulations are being adhered to.

- Adhere to all policies through communication, action, and consistent enforcement.
- Effectively and efficiently perform all tasks to lead by example.
- Stays up to date on all training as required and follows all health and safety, and sanitation policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a Mary Brown’s store.
- Must be available for the duration of the entire assignment ranging from 10 14 days with the possibility for overnight travel.
- A record of strong performance in all work stations including front and back of house.
- A coachable team player with potential leadership skills and the right attitude.
- Passionate about the Mary Brown’s brand.
- Successful completion and up to date on all required training modules on LearnMB.
- Flexible and adaptable to adjust to dynamic work environment.
- Motivated and willing to learn new skills.
- Professional, well-spoken with a strong command of the English Language.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication along with ability to listen effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Mature professional judgment and professionalism in handling all matters.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols and food standards.
An asset to have, but not mandatory :
- Ability to speak any of these languages listed is an asset but not needed : Spanish, Turkish, Hindi, Urdu or Punjabi.
- Previous supervisor experience.
- Flexible / Open availability.
Physical Activities and Requirements of this position
- The position will require ability to work long hours while standing.
- Occasional exposure to mechanical parts, extreme cold and extreme heat due to restaurant and kitchen work setting.
