Location : Flexible with preference for candidates based in Australia(SydneyMelbournePerthAdelaideDarwin TasmaniaBrisbaneCanberra)

Job Type : FulltimeContract

KeyResponsibilities :

• Undertake a scan of existing coregistration software andidentify potential candidates.
• Test theperformance of candidate tools over areas of interest usingsinglescene temporal stacks from various satelliteimages.
• Develop workflows over an expandedarea of interest and apply them to test sites.
• Document the performance of the workflow for each sensorover variable terrain types.
• Understand theperformance and compute requirements of candidatesoftware / workflows and write a feasibility report on their use atscale.

Key Deliverablesand Acceptance :

• Engageregularly with project members through standups and othermeetings.
• Provide a summary of existingcoregistration software and identify key candidates fortesting.
• Report on the performance over testareas.
• Deliver workflow / s over expanded areasof interest and apply them to test sites.
• Provide a feasibility report on applying candidateworkflows at scale.

Requirements :

• Technical Capability :
• Experience developing code with Python.
• Experience with applying algorithms and performingdistributed processing over large datasets.
• Experience with geometric manipulation and alignment ofsatellite imagery.
• Experience with geospatialdata (e.g. rasters).
• Earth observation dataanalysis.
• Effective communicationskills.
• Ability to deliver projectdeliverables and milestones to schedule.
• Capacity :
• Provide sufficient resources to meet the capabilityrequirement within the specified timeframes.
• Provide resumes for each proposed personnel demonstratingexpertise to meet the requirement.
• Full workrights to work in Australia
