What You Will Do
Assessment and implementation of SLP interventions (i.e. swallowing assessments, dysphagia management, communication, etc.) in a home-based settingUse of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team-based approach to care and servicesSupport a holistic and restorative approach to care (i.e. enhanced stroke pathway; cognitive communication supports, etc.)Leverage our digital health platforms to support care delivery, collaboration, documentation, and interventionWhat You Will Need To Be Successful
You are registered as a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of OntarioValid driver's license and vehicle insuranceYour focus is to embrace person and family-centered careYou are comfortable delivering care both in person and using virtual methods / technologyYou are passionate, empathetic, use good judgement and apply critical thinking when making client decisionsYou are known for excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independentlyYou are flexible and have demonstrated skills in critical thinking that you can apply to a variety of situations.You value the role a therapist plays in keeping clients at home, where they want to beRecruitment Technology Disclosure
