As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing new processes and enhancing existing test methodologies within our Digital Home Experience and IoT product team.
Responsibilities
- Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities
- Keep the QA environment updated and control the release changes, including 3rd party applications
- Responsible for the quality of UI and Backend test validation
Skills
- Bachelor’s in engineering, computer science or similar field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently
- Web services, REST API services
- Eclipse or equivalent IDE
- MySQL / oracle or similar databases
- Continuous Integration (Jenkins or similar)
- Strong scripting skills in Python / JavaScript
