Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Summary :

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Engineering team to execute on the overall quality and test strategy for the Trulioo SaaS platform. The highly technical QA Engineer develops automated tests so that the developers can test their code and deliver quality products, supporting a culture of quality across all engineering disciplines. You are a passionate QA Engineer that has experience in delivering quality in a Scrum / Agile environment. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance. This is a full-time Hybrid position at our Mount Pleasant, Vancouver HQ.

What you'll be doing :

You will be part of Trulioo’s Engineering team, following the Quality Engineering standards and participating in test automation efforts across our products and platform working with cross-functional teams to make sure department goals and objectives are met. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has worked on a Scrum / Agile automation team and has experience with tools and technologies that enable industry-leading Quality Engineering organizations.

• Execute on the strategic vision with the support of the senior QA Engineers, using technologies required to ensure delivery of quality software for the Trulioo SaaS platform.
• Follow and execute quality engineering processes on agile teams, including bug tracking, test planning, manual testing, developing test automation scripts, and documentation.
• Participate in release planning, regression testing, smoke testing, and release coordination rotation representing the QA side.
• Review and understand requirements, behavior specifications, and design documents to begin test development early and uncover risks prior to implementation
• Design and document test cases, and conduct manual and automated testing for various features across all platforms and technology layers : UI, API, database.
• Work with the engineering leaders and Sr. QA Engineers across all engineering disciplines, to apply a 'test automation first' strategy to test case execution; moving towards CI / CD pipeline key integration to drive product quality.

Please view the base salary range for this role below. The range listed is our expected compensation for the role. However, the pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Annual Salary$75,000—$90,000 CAD
