Applications are invited for Casual Educational Assistants in the Palliser South area schools. Educational Assistants provide various support to students, assist teachers and school-based counsellors with adapting academic and non-instructional tasks.
They assist in areas of personal care and behaviour management under the supervision of teachers, principals and other child care professionals and are an integral part of the collaborative team.

Experience and understanding of ADHD, FASD, ODD and other behavioural disabilities would be considered an asset. Building a strong rapport with students is key to a successful career as an Educational Assistant

In order to maintain a safe and secure working environment, applicants new to The Palliser School Division must provide :
Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sector check from Local Police Service or RCMP detachment;
Social Insurance Number (SIN) card or document issued by Service Canada; SIN card / document must be in current legal name.
Name on SIN card / document must match your Government Issued ID and Criminal Record Check;
Government issued ID - valid driver's license, valid passport or nexus card.
The following attachments should accompany the online submission :

- Copy of post-secondary transcripts (if applicable);
- Copy of your most recent evaluation (if unable to provide evaluation, please indicate in your cover letter the reason why);
- Statement of personal faith and pastoral reference for Christian Faith-based schools only;
Minimum of three professional references including phone numbers and email addresses for each.
