Accounts Payable Technician
Position : Accounts Payable Technician
Location : Montreal East
Salary : $60,000 to $70,000 based on experience

Our client, a reputable company in the distribution industry, is looking to expand their team of dynamic accounting professionals.
Your key duties will include :
- Managing the full cycle accounts payables
- Performing a ccount reconciliation, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
- Invoicing, verifying, matching, and coding
- Reviewing, validating, and processing expense reports
- Balancing and processing transportation, duty, and brokerage fees
- Preparing and scheduling payments based on payment terms
- Assisting in the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Responding to vendor inquiries regarding payment status, discrepancies, or other payment related matters
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions and documentation for audit purposes
- Maintaining effective communication channels with suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and other stakeholders
Qualifications :
- At least 4 years of experience in high-volume payables
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS)
- Familiar with AS400 would be an asset
- Bilingual proficiency for collaboration within Canada, the US, and Mexico
