About the Salesforce Administrator / Platform Engineer Position We are seeking a talented and driven Salesforce Administrator / Platform Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be supporting our group of Solution Consultants and Engineers with Salesforce Platform Development, using tools like Flows, Apex and Lightning Components. Responsibilities Salesforce Administration : Administer and maintain Salesforce CRM, including user management, security, and permissions. Create and manage custom objects, fields, page layouts, and record types. Manage reports, dashboards, and data visualization to provide actionable insights. Implement and maintain flows, validation rules and automations. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues with the Salesforce platform. Platform Development : Design, develop, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages to meet business requirements. Develop Lightning components and applications for a customized Salesforce experience. Implement integrations with third-party systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, or middleware. Design and develop custom applications on the Salesforce Platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.). Collaborate with Solution Consultants and other teams to create technical solutions. General Responsibilities : Document system configurations, customizations, and processes for future reference. Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends. Participate in the evaluation and selection of Salesforce-related tools and technologies. Lead and assist with projects related to Salesforce development and administration. Qualifications Strong experience with Salesforce administration and development. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs. Experience with data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, etc.). Knowledge of Salesforce Security Model, including user permissions, profiles, and roles. Experience with Salesforce automation tools (Process Builder, Flow, Workflow Rules). Familiarity with the Salesforce AppExchange, third-party integrations, and external systems. Salesforce Administrator certification required. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (or higher) preferred. 1+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Administration and / or development. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
