Our dynamic team is seeking an Administrative Office Manager to work closely with our Managing Partner to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our office.
Role Overview :
The Administrative Office Manager will play a key role in supporting the Managing Partner, the team of lawyers, and support staff.
This hybrid position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced legal environment.
A background in law, particularly knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, is an asset.
Responsibilities :
Assist lawyers with administrative queries and manage office operations. Coordinate and manage social media tasks with the Digital Marketing Manager, ensuring timely updates and engagement.
Handle vacation requests, circulate and coordinate employee reviews and performance, ensuring alignment with the firm’s policies.
Ensure that the firm manual is adhered to and suggest improvements / revisions. Provide administrative assistance to the accounts team, which includes invoice tracking, expense reduction, and basic financial coordination.
Maintain effective communication between the Managing Partner and the rest of the team to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications :
Prior experience in office management or administrative roles, ideally within a legal setting. Familiarity with legal procedures, especially Civil Procedure Rules, is an asset.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management software.
