Requirements
- Current Certification in Standard First Aid and Infant & Child CPR (Level C)
- Clear Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Up to date Immunization records.
- Basic knowledge of :
- Ontario Early Learning Framework
- How Does Learning Happen?
- ELECT
- Familiarity with and willingness to comply with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA, 2014) .
- Completed the following online self-test training :
- CCEYA Licensing Standards Self-Test (with certificate of completion)
- Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps (with proof of completion)
- Minimum 4 years of experience the childcare field.
