The School Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' ability to participate fully in their educational environment.
This includes providing direct therapy, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing strategies to help students achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities :
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support students’ occupational performance
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and other school activities
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all professional activities
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Experience working with children in a school setting
Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education laws
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications :
Certification in Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Experience with sensory integration therapy
Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability
