We have an exciting opportunity available We are seeking a full time Estimating Administrator to join our Estimating team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

This is a one-year term position with the possibility of an extension or switch to a permanent position.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Reporting to the Chief Estimator, as the Estimating Administrator, you will provide general administrative support and help information flow smoothly to / from and within the estimating group.

Specific duties include but are not limited to :

  • Review and monitor multiple platforms for potential tenders.
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors, architects, and clients.
  • Prepare, schedule, attend and assist in the tender strategy meetings, recording meeting minutes as required.
  • Receive, organize, and review all tender documents for completeness.
  • Assist in ensuring that bid forms and supplementary information are collected and ready for tender close.
  • Assist in distributing subtrade quotes.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date and accurate contact information for suppliers, sub-contractors, and clients.
  • Assist project management and operations teams with tender documents throughout construction process as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Essential Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in construction with knowledge of construction processes, verbiage and concepts.
  • Knowledgeable in using office equipment, Microsoft Office Programs and Estimating software.

Preferred Requirements :

  • Degree / Diploma in Architectural and Building Technology would be an asset.
  • Knowledge in commercial and industrial construction is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in estimating is an asset.
