Positions Overview :

As a Total Rewards & HRIS Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and administering benefits and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) processes within our organization.

Your role involves ensuring that employees receive competitive rewards, maintaining accurate HR data and supporting various HR initiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and wellness initiatives.
  • open enrollment processes and address benefits-related inquiries.
  • compliance with all relevant policies and guidelines.
  • and distribute required benefit enrolment emails.
  • the Sun Life enrolment tool (opening enrolment for new hires, life events, etc.)
  • Finance with monthly benefit reconciliation & validate HRIS file from Sun Life.
  • payments for premiums for associates that are on leave of absence.
  • RRSP enrolments and enter contribution changes.
  • and remit bi-weekly Manulife contribution files.
  • changes in benefits to employees.
  • guidance on benefit enrollment, eligibility, and related matters.
  • employees with inquiries regarding their rewards package.
  • and analyze data related to benefits and rewards.
  • reports for management and HR teams.
  • communication changes in benefits to employees with our communications department.
  • workshops or training sessions on total reward programs.
  • system issues and collaborate with IT or vendors (SNOW etc.).
  • as first point of contact for payroll system password resets.
  • data integrity by validating and auditing HRIS records.
  • opportunities to enhance HR processes through system automation.
  • with HRIS implementation and enhancements when applicable.
  • duties as assigned.

Requirements :

  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • degree in Human Resources or PCP designation is preferred.
  • of theory, principles and practices of total rewards, compensation, pay structure design and development, short term / long term incentive programs.
  • in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat with advanced Excel skills.
  • organization and mathematical skills.
  • level to attention to detail.

Benefits & Perks

We offer a competitive salary, plus a full set of benefits, including :

Wage Range : 55,000 60,000 base salary

Please note that, whilst not expected, the company may pay at a rate outside of the range for this role where appropriate.

Actual compensation commensurate with the candidate’s experience, education, internal parity, role complexity, role level, and other relevant factors.

The advertised salary range relates to Ontario and is provided in accordance with the Ontario Pay Transparency Act. We recognize however that salaries are often driven by market forces in the local area where a candidate is based and accordingly the salary range may not apply outside of Ontario.
