As an Enterprise Architect - Business and Applications, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing the technological blueprint that supports our business strategy.
Collaborating closely with various stakeholders (business and IT), you will define and execute strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and innovation across our systems and applications.
In big programs, the Enterprise Architect will translate business objectives into the right high-level architecture (business capabilities, applications, integrations, and technologies) that is adapted for the context of BRP in a pragmatic approach.
They will work with the stakeholder to build the business case. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with key business stakeholders, Internal Audit, Business leaders, Solution Architects, Vendors, etc.
to ensure and guide adherence to BRP architecture standards and targets.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, emphasizing business capabilities and application ecosystems.
- Define and document architecture standards, principles, and guidelines that optimize business and application alignment.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into architectural requirements.
- Design and communicate major project roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration between business objectives and application solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, particularly within the realm of AI, business process optimization, and application modernization.
- Lead the implementation of architecture changes, minimizing disruption and ensuring successful integration.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding the organization, projects and development teams in the realization of architectural visions.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with architectural decisions, balancing short-term goals with long-term sustainability.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in order to educate the organization.
- Develop and operate a governance process for business capabilities.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture processes that enable the enterprise to develop and implement solutions and business capabilities that are aligned with best practices, business goals, the application ecosystems, and technology.
- Actively participate in the evolution of the EA function, and the development of its service offerings and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain EA frameworks, including orientation, positioning, architecture principles, and non-functional requirements.
- Participate heavily in initiating big programs, scoping, positioning, cost estimation, risks / issues and dependencies.
THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES :
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related subject, or equivalent project-related experience.
- Bilingualism (French and English).
- Ideally, formal qualification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g. TOGAF with Archimate) or formal qualifications in technology.
- At least 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years in Architecture.
- Ideally, experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes in the automotive or a related industry.
- Ideally, experience and knowledge of SAP S / 4 HANA, TeamCenter, Adobe, and Salesforce.
- Experience in using architecture methodologies such as Zachman and / or TOGAF.
- Experience designing the deployment of applications and infrastructure into public cloud services.
- Strong working knowledge of IT service management (e.g. ITIL-related disciplines).
- Ability to reach out across the organization and communicate with people at different levels, with diverse needs and agendas;

- Strong communication skills, both orally and through presentations.
- Skilled at perceiving patterns and relationships between technologies, processes, business models, and people.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills; the ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects, and to think creatively and beyond normal constraints.
- The ability to identify emerging technology that can add business value, and to modify business practices to take full advantage of technological innovation.
- Familiarity with application delivery methods.
- The ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology, processes, business models, and user behaviours and apply them to business needs.
- The ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence, work well with others, and be respected as a leader.
