The intern will work closely with the Mechanical Engineering team, assisting in the production and verification of tooling and jigs. This role requires the ability to model in CAD, complete CAD Drawings, and perform physical testing / prototyping of designs.

This is a paid internship and has a start date of mid-May 2025 and ends in mid-late August 2025.

Job Responsibilities - About the role - you'll need to :

• Create CAD Drawings for new and existing parts
• Design parts in CAD for rapid prototyping, testing, and user evaluation
• Design fixtures for assembly and testing
• 3D print with FDM machines
• Post process and finish 3D printed prototypes
• Probe and Laser Scan parts to validate dimensions.
• Support the Mechanical Engineering team using fundamental engineering principles, theories, and practices
• Create and give presentations for technical reviews
