Haztech has animmediate opening for a Safety Training Instructor in the Reginaarea.
JOBDESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Safety TrainingManager the Training Instructor is responsible for coordinating andexecuting training at Haztech Training Centres and variouslocations as required.
This position requires experience astraining instructor with a recognized training agency and relevantexperience. (Energy Safety Canada and Construction SafetyAssociation)
Preference will be given tocandidates who are also certified to instruct safety disciplinessuch as but not limited to H2S Confined Space Fall Protectionetc.
DUTIES
Provide safety training to thehighest standards
Complete and submit any / allpaperwork post coursecompletion
Business development for thesafety training courses
Inventory and order trainingmaterials and supplies
Create and maintain positiverelationships with Haztechclients
Ensure all clients and studentsare treated with the utmost respect and professionalism; portray aprofessional impression of the company to customers partnersassociates vendors and the businesscommunity
Ability to work autonomously andunder pressure
Professionally represent Haztechand provide exceptional service to all customers andclients

QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS&COMPETENCIES
Current Energy Safety CanadaInstructor Certificate
Current ConstructionSafety Association InstructorCertificate
Minimum 1 year experience as aninstructor
Experience with MicrosoftOffice
Valid driver’slicense
Criminal recordclearance
