Schedule follows the Regina Public schools Kindergarten A schedule. Must also be available for interview and training shifts before the start date. A responsible, observant, curious, dedicated and fun-loving individual needed to provide childcare to one child after school on kindergarten days, and to help run the household. Experience with coaching both physical and social / emotional skills in ~5 year olds is a definite asset. An interest in science and exploring the natural world is preferred. Responsibilities will include : Housekeeping tasks for the first half of the 3-hour shift, for example : - Tidying, cleaning play and common spaces - setting up new invitations to play- preparing snacks and / or starting supperChildcare : - pick up from school and walk a short distance to the family’s home- Supervise, join play when appropriate, and support child development in all domains. Drivers license preferred.
