We’re looking for a Manager of Software Development to lead our development team and help shape the next chapter of our product and company. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who loves building software, mentoring teams, and turning ambitious ideas into shipped features.
This role blends technical leadership and hands-on development , roughly a 60 / 40 split between leadership and coding making it ideal for an experienced engineer who wants to stay close to the technology while owning delivery and team success.

What You’ll Do
Lead the Software Development Team
Lead a team of 5 full-time developers , providing technical direction, mentorship, and supportConduct performance reviews, support career growth, and help build a strong, engaged engineering cultureParticipate in hiring decisions and help grow the team thoughtfully as the company scalesDrive Delivery & Execution
Own the successful delivery of new features and enhancements , from concept through releaseWork closely with operations, product, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into high-quality softwareEnsure predictable, high-quality releases while maintaining agilityHands-On Technical Leadership
Contribute directly to the codebase and architectureReview designs and code, set technical standards, and guide architectural decisionsBalance pragmatism and technical excellence to keep the team moving quickly without sacrificing qualityShape Process & Engineering Maturity
Own and evolve the software development processImprove planning, execution, and delivery practices as the company growsChampion continuous improvement while keeping processes lightweight and effectiveCollaborate on Product Direction
Work with key stakeholders to help develop and refine the product roadmapTake ownership of executing the roadmap with the development teamProvide technical insight to inform product decisions and trade-offsWhat We’re Looking For
7+ years of professional software development experience, including leading development teamsStrong background in cloud-native, serverless architecturesProven experience balancing people leadership and hands-on technical workAbility to translate business goals into executable technical plansExcellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership styleA builder’s mindset — pragmatic, curious, and excited by growthStrong Experience With :
AWS , particularly services such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, EventBridge, Step Functions, S3, SNS / SQS, DynamoDB, Cognito, and CloudWatchTypeScriptMongoDBServerless architecturesGit-based workflows and modern CI / CD practicesAgile or iterative development methodologiesHow We Work
