Practice Manager / Manager, Implementation (SaaS)

As the People Manager , Software Support and Implementation , you will lead at team by managing, empowering, and supporting an implementation and support team that is responsible for implementing technical solutions.
You will be deeply involved and dedicated, guiding the team toward its goals. You will be responsible for supporting the team, managing the day-to-day activities of the team by executing policies and processes ensuring the consistent growth of the team members, monitoring and prioritizing activities, reporting on task execution, and collaborating with Project Managers on resource allocations.
Reporting to the VP of Delivery, the Implementations Manager owns the technical performance, installation of technological solutions products, and the development of their people / team.
Responsibilities
- Ensures appropriate staffing levels for all projects and recommends staffing and budget changes in relation to the business growth plan
- With a specific focus on delivery, hires, monitors, and develops all resources in advance of planned business growth
- Oversees individual performance goals and ensures appropriate assessments of delivery versus the stated goals, general performance, alignment with the corporate culture, and development
- Conducts monthly 1-1s and quarterly and year-end reviews for direct reports, including fostering an environment of constructive feedback
- Manages and grows a strong team by fostering day-to-day working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful client outcomes
- Oversees the development and deployment of programs or systems, coordinating all the parties involved to ensure high-quality risk results output and troubleshooting efforts
- Establishes objectives, and key results with the team members, and actively manages any areas of non-performance
- Communicates and provides progress and status weekly reports
- Provides technical problem-solving and guidance to the direct reports
- Maintains effective communication channels for the delivery department to support and enhance a cooperative and mutually supportive interaction
Required Skills & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in a STEM field or a Degree as a minimum
- 2+ years full cycle people management experience
- A risk integrity management, predictive modeling or risk modeling background is an asset.
- Preference for those with experience in SaaS environments
- Solid understanding of project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
