The Manager, Platform Technology is a delivery-focused and technically fluent leader, responsible for managing vendor development priorities and ensuring the stability and integration of LendCare platforms. This role plays a critical part in coordinating platform enhancements, overseeing support operations, and enabling seamless integration across systems. The Manager works closely with external partners and internal teams to ensure platform capabilities evolve in alignment with business needs. Success in this role requires strong vendor management, technical coordination, and a proactive approach to platform support and optimization.
What will you be doing?
- Development Prioritization – Coordinate and manage the backlog of platform development requests, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivery timelines.
- Platform Roadmap Support – Support roadmap updates and ongoing maintenance to ensure technology implementations align with business strategies and needs.
- Vendor Coordination – Serve as the primary point of contact for development and QA partners, ensuring accountability, performance, and timely delivery.
- Platform Support Oversight – Lead the day-to-day support of enterprise platforms, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and root causes are addressed.
- Integration Management – Oversee the planning and execution of platform integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring stability and data integrity.
- Release Planning – Support release management activities by coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure readiness and minimize disruption.
- Issue & Defect Tracking – Maintain visibility into platform issues and defects, driving resolution and continuous improvement in support processes.
- Documentation & Standards – Ensure platform documentation is current and aligned with operational standards, including support procedures and integration specifications.
- Stakeholder Communication – Provide regular updates to internal teams and leadership on platform performance, development progress, and support metrics.
What experience do you have?
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an asset.Certifications – Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or vendor-specific platform certifications (, Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce) are considered beneficial.Experience – Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in platform support, software delivery, or technical vendor management within an enterprise environment.Vendor Management – Demonstrated experience managing third-party development and support partners, including performance tracking and escalation handling.Platform Operations – Strong understanding of enterprise platform operations, including incident management, release coordination, and integration support.Technical Fluency – Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to APIs, integrations, and platform architecture.Problem Solving – Proven ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues and drive resolution through collaboration and structured analysis.Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business teams.We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides you the ability to work three days onsite per week from our Pickering, Mississauga, or Toronto offices.
