Reportingto the Project Manager the responsibilities of the Field / ProjectCoordinatorinclude :

  • Readtechnical and administrative projectspecifications;
  • Inspectwork daily to ensure that it meets the specifiedstandards;
  • InformProject Manager of project development and discuss methods plannedwith sitemanagement;
  • Ordercritical material with suppliers in collaboration with theSuperintendent;
  • Performquantity tracking and cost coding for purposes of productivityanalysis and accurate job costforecasting;
  • Preparedaily reports as related to the crew progress andissues;
  • Providedocument control for correspondence submittals RFI s NCRetc.;
  • Assistin the preparation of final records for the project includingasbuilts;
  • Organizeand participate in variousmeetings;
  • Establishand keep necessary communications between suppliers subcontractorsprofessionals andclient;
  • Assistin carrying out a variety of field duties at the job site relatedtoproject.

Requirements

  • Postsecondarydegree or diploma in Civil Engineering program or similar or acombination of technicaltraining and / or relatedexperience;
  • 25years of industryexperience;
  • Experiencein contracting industry (heavy civilpreferred);
  • Abilityto read analyze and interpret technical designdrawings;
  • Experiencewith scheduling and planning siteactivities;
  • Excellentcommand of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite MSProject BlueBeam AutoCAD etc.
  • Costanalysis control andreporting;
  • ContractsCommercialknowledge;
  • Bilingual(an asset) but proficiency in English language with excellentcommunication skills (written and verbal) isrequired.
