Summary
Slegg Building Materials is seeking a Temporary Full-Time General Carpenter for our store reset from June to August 2024.
The shifts are 12 : 30pm - 9pm. The wage range is $25 - $30 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
- Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities
- Build simple framed displays
- Build retail racking / store fixtures, and secure racking
- Store remerchandising
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Effective communication skills and ability to read and speak English
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Basic hand tool skills
- Previous Carpentry experience
- Physical requirements include : Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbsStanding for longs periods of timeFrequently climbing up and down stairsPulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight
