Senior Risk Analyst/ Financial Analyst

Our retail client is looking for a Senior Risk Analyst / Financial Analyst to join them on a contract basis.

Location : Vancouver

Hybrid model : 3 days hybrid, 2 days WFH

Contract 6 months to start, high chance of extension

You will be a key partner in financial analysis of the departmental budgets and partner with FP&A team on a monthly basis to understand risk / opportunities to all of the items within their budget.

You will support the annual budgeting cycle through creating tools and leveraging company documents, and will also manage the costs of monthly contract budgets and overall monthly OPEX and CAPEX spend.

Additionally, you will support organizational planning & analysis as the liaison for asset protection and FP&A and various business partners

Must haves :

6+ years of finance, financial analysis or reporting experience with fast paced business environments

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or similar.

CPA or MBA is an asset

Hyperion, Oracle, Power BI knowledge is a plus

Strong financial background, analytical, and modeling skills

Expert knowledge of Excel is required.

Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiples tasks

Ability to work independently and within a team

Effective written & verbal communication skills
