Bilingual Applicants Support Specialist
This position includes an evening schedule rotation (1 week on 5) or can be an exclusive evening schedule. An evening premium applies.
Position Summary :
Under the direction of the National Director of Sales and working in partnership with the various teams within the company, the Applicant Support Specialist is responsible for the day to day interactive needs of Applicants.
They are responsible for the day-to-day processing of electronic invitations sent to candidates by all clients and for providing technical support to candidates or clients as required.
Responsibilities :
To provide customer service in accordance with company standards and in adherence to the specifications of the service contracts, the Applicant Support Specialist shall :
- Provide an excellent customer service support to applicants and clients (Internal and External), either by phone, email or through our on line chat function.
- Handle and resolve applicant technical issues.
- Document and use our customer support system to create, track and resolve tickets
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints.
- Validate all information submitted by the applicant.
- Ensure that all required documents are attached to the customer's request / applicants file as needed including consent documents needed for the requested verification.
- Liaise with clients / applicants to ensure that all information is collected to proceed with a background verification.
- Escalate and prioritize issues and handle as per company policies and procedures as needed.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.
Required Qualifications :
Knowledge and Education
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience
- Bilingualism in English and French - Required
- 1 to 2years of experience in a customer service related role
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good to excellent typing ability
