Whoare you A motivated attentive and hardworking Network Specialist with extensive IT knowledgein Physical Securities systems including security accesscontrol video management and audio visual .

The idealindividual will have at least 5 years of experience in installingand programming emergency communications and security systems witha thorough knowledge of Microsoft Server Networking and switchesenvironments.

PrimaryDailyTasks

• Workingdirectly with a large energyrelatedclient.
• Monitoringand responding to service requests with a focus on serversIT / Programming and big picture incident prevention understandingboth hardware andsoftware.
• Liaisonwith customers and technicians for scheduling and completion ofwork required based on programmingneeds.
• Safeoperation of a company vehicle with reporting ofissues.

Salary : $90000 $120000 per year (depending uponexperience)

Hoursof Work :

Monday toFriday 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm(FullTime)

Typical day althoughstart and end times mayvary.

Travel :

This role will be a combinationof in office and out of town. Much of the work will be in Calgarywith possible travel around Alberta British Columbia orOntario.

Responsibilities :

• Overseeingprojects for their main client while working closely with bothinternal and other companies Technicians with responsibilityincluding the scheduling of tasks based on programmingneeds.
• Perform programmingcommissioning and troubleshooting activities on access control CCTVintrusion alarm and intercomsystems.
• Programming of servers inWindows environments (SQL Microsoft Server Management Studio ServerManager)
• Lead various projects tocompletion under the Project Manager and / orCEO.
• Installation and service of IPbased and analog CCTV (Genetec MilestoneAvigilon).
• Build equipment systemracks pull cables and prepare equipment forinstallation.
• Installation ofcompleted racks projectors monitors / videowalls and relatedsubmounts.
• Assists with testing ofsystem components to ensure system completeness andconvention.
• Provide excellentcustomer service while maintaining an approachable and professionaldemeanor while on thejob.
• Demonstrate working knowledgeof electricity andelectronics.
• Demonstrate aptitudefor troubleshooting systems and performing necessaryrepairs.
• Program and test a varietyof nonroutine security systems andequipment.
• Operate systems todemonstrate equipment commission new systems analyze performanceand identify malfunctions.
• Write avariety of nonroutine programs forsystems.
• Review and interpretelectricaldrawings.

Requirements

• Advancedcapabilities for troubleshooting audio setup and video setup with astrong understanding of both hardware andsoftware.
• Minimum of 5 years ofprevious security Access Control systems experiencerequired.
• 2year Associate degree ina technical field involving IT Network Electronics or Computerspreferred.
• Genetec Certification ispreferred Lenel and Avigilon is anasset.
• Working knowledge of ITnetwork systems.
• Proficient with SQLand Windows OS.
• Selfmotivated workwith minimal supervision. Strong attention todetail.
• Strong oral and writtencommunication skills with the ability to complete and submitrequired paperwork in a timelymanner.
• Great time management skillswith experience in prioritizing tasks in order ofurgency.
• Experience within a servicevan technician role is anasset.
• Valid drivers license withclean driving record.
• Ability towork alone as well as jointly as a team player with othertechnicians andtrades.
• Must be able topass a clean Criminal Record Backgroundcheck.
