Responsibilities
- Managethe cost control cycle throughout the project execution by settingup projects / mandates tracking budgets and schedules within theproject managementsystem;
- Calculatethe initial budget on the basis of theproposal;
- Ensuretracking of hours expenses costs and budgetupdates;
- Monitorchanges and coordination with the projectteam;
- Evaluatechange requests evaluate their impact on project objectives andcommunicate changes tostakeholders;
- Ensureand manage the project progress monitoring with discipline managersincluding cost and schedulecontrols;
- Ensurefollowup with project managers on regular updates of projectforecasts including periodic assistance in the estimation ofremaining project costs as well as necessary provisions andrisks;
- Recordsand resolves issues relating to project budgets andschedules;
- Ensurethe quality of prepared project status reports executive summariesand dashboards to provide timely updates onperformance.
Requirements
- Administrationfinance or engineeringdegree;
- Minimumof 5 years of experience in a similarposition;
- Bilingual(an asset) but proficiency in English language with excellentcommunication skills (written and verbal) isrequired;
- Strongpersonal IT skills (MS Office suite) and relevant software skillsspecific to projectcontrols.
