About The Opportunity

Working as an integral part of the Education Department, reporting directly to the Reclaiming Education Manager, this position will act as the administrative "right hand" for the department by coordinating all in-flowing and outgoing information and acts as the "gatekeeper" for the teams schedule.

They are responsible for a wide range of word processing, research, and administrative tasks and reception. Performs assistant duties for management and is a key "point-of-contact" between staff, committees, external organizations, and membershiṕ providing critical communication and scheduling links.

Knowledge of Squamish Nation and mainstream education policies, practices, and protocols are required. The incumbent is well organized and requires strong interpersonal, technical / administrative / accounting skills;

with exceptional time management, multi-tasking, and customer service skills; and works well independently under minimal supervision.

The position requires a broad range of office management skills to meet diverse secretarial, clerical, and administrative needs.

Salary : $ 59,373 - $ 66,223 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
