IT Support Analyst – Job Description
The IT Support Analyst is the face of IT and will act as a liaison between IT and the end user for IT-related needs
Manage technical support related issues via ticketing system
Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products
Work on assignments that are complex in nature and require judgment, initiative and specialized knowledge to identify, resolve and recommend solutions to problems
Technical Support of Hardware and Software
Provide telephone, email and in-person support to end users
Ensure that incidents are handled in a timely manner and appropriate escalation is followed
Document existing and new systems and procedures
Willing to work outside of normal operating hours when required
IT Support Analyst – Mandatory Skills
Bachelors or College Diploma in IT and related fields
2 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills, good listening skills and the ability to gain customer confidence and trust
Self-motivated team player
Ability to handle multiple calls / tasks in fast paced environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Knowledge of network printer installation, setup, and troubleshooting
Strong commitment to high quality service, professionalism, and teamwork
Practical experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, client / server, remote tools, Windows 10 / 11, Server 2019 and Oracle Databases
IT Support Analyst - Nice to Have Skills
Associate, Bachelors, or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline with an IT focus is preferred
