Community Support Worker (CSW)

A is extremely independent and will direct her own supports. She makes all her appts and social events for staff to accompany her.

She lives near the Joyce skytrain station and she knows how to get to all her destinations. She uses a scooter when out in the community but is able to walk unassisted.

Duties and responsibilities

She does require a little bit of help with showers but no physical support is required. She needs some assistance with chores and cooking but she is able to do some of it on her own.

Training will be provided.

Supporting People who get anxious; Ability to motivate, encourage and engage the interests of others.; Computer proficiency (email, Word, internet usage)

Expected Hours of Work

16 hours per week (flexible). The hours will be flexible and may change based on what she has scheduled for the day.
