Outside Sales Representative – HVAC & Compressed Air

A trusted industry leader is looking for an energetic Outside Sales Representative to help expand its customer base in the Whitby area. In this role, you’ll focus on generating new maintenance contract business through prospecting, networking, and delivering tailored solutions. Your goal : consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, research, and networking
- Engage potential clients and assess their needs
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and promotional materials
- Negotiate solutions and handle objections effectively
- Track sales activity, maintain CRM records, and report on pipeline
- Participate in industry events and monitor competitor activity
Qualifications
6 months–3 years of sales experience (B2B preferred; HVAC an asset)College diploma or university degree preferredStrong communication, presentation, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an assetValid driver’s license and reliable vehicle requiredWhat’s Offered
