Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop service advisors, technicians, and apprentices.
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to service quality standards.
Monitor KPIs such as customer satisfaction scores, productivity metrics, and department profitability.
Maintain high levels of customer service through clear, timely, and professional communication.
Collaborate with parts, sales, and administrative teams to ensure seamless dealership operations.
Review and ensure accuracy of repair orders, warranty submissions, and invoicing.
Manage scheduling, workflow distribution, and shop floor optimization to maximize technician capacity.
Support continuous employee development through coaching and training initiatives.
Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
Identify and execute process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Perform additional duties required to support overall service department success.
Key Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or automotive management preferred.
3 5+ years of experience in automotive service management or supervisory roles.
Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience coaching and managing service teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong business acumen with experience analyzing service department financial reports.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
