- Builds and maintains effective relationships with clients at all levels in their organization.
- Communication through regular scheduled site visits (per plan) email and phone calls with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction while addressing any concerns.
Sales and product knowledge training critical.
- Deliver all programs and sales specials, working closely with the Marketing Manager.
- Responsible for keeping the client list current.
- Have a working knowledge of the current market size, conditions, competition.
- Extensive travel within assigned territory. Minimum 3-4 days a week, 3-5 calls per day, overnight stays required.
- Completion of site visit notes and monthly progress report vs budget and KPI’s. Use of company NetSuite / CRM system is mandatory.
- Establishes a business relationship with all stakeholders including the manufacturers, retail owners, their sales / operations staff and contractors.
- Effectively leverages company employees to help attain objectives and to meet the clients needs
- Understand clients needs , business and market potential. Where do our products and services fit in ? Make recommendations, provide solutions.
- Seek out new clients and show room display units as per plan, document, and track sales.
- Develops and owns strategies for clients within assigned territory that will achieve business growth targets.
- Works with management team to develop overall territory sales plan that includes channel sales, marketing strategies and sales forecasts.
- Ensures order processing, product delivery, warranty and technical support meet our service level agreements to our clients (delivery schedule, Fill rate, B / O process, pricing levels etc.
- Report deficiencies, and work on solutions with RD staff.
- Maintains constant communication with all internal and external parties (clients) during the progression of any promotions, programs, bookings or special deals the company is offering to the dealer network.
- Successfully sells into competitive accounts and grows market share within assigned territory as per plan.
