Role And Responsibilities
We're looking for a junior Java developer with Java development experience and a similar academic background.
They Will Be Responsible To
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable university.
- 2-3 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
- Solid understanding of Java programming language and its ecosystem.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A valid Government of Canada Security Clearance is essential.

- Java API / Frameworks : QuickTime for Java, JMF, Applets, AWT / Swing (J2SE), Accessibility.
