TheContract Manager is responsible for thefollowing :
- Developprocess to ensure compliance with contractrequirements;
- Developand implement change managementprocedures;
- Overseethe identification of claims mitigationstrategies;
- Manageclaimsprocess;
- Overseethe negotiation of change orders variations and changeissues;
- Ensuretimely and accurate contractualcorrespondence;
- Overseepricing of change and delayissues;
- Managepreparation of narratives and entitlementdocumentation;
- Overseeidentification and tracking of contract anddeliverables;
- Identifyand implement record keeping procedures to validate potentialchanges;
- Managetraining of staff on the implementation of contract processes andprocedures;
- Maintainthe change management issue logs and provision of summaryreports.
Requirements
- Postsecondarydegree or diploma in a relevantdiscipline;
- Strongknowledge of constructionlaw;
- Minimum10 years of experience in Constructionindustry;
- Experiencedealing with major change / claims management or dispute resolutionissues in a majorproject;
- Excellentcommand of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite MSProject BlueBeam etc.
- Strongbusinessacumen;
- BilingualismFrench and English would be considered anasset.
