Position Title : Field Supervisor

Terms of Employment : Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)

Language of Work : English

Work Locations : 1148-585 Seaborne Ave, Port Coquitlam BC

Must work in office 100% and have the capability to travel throughout BC for site visits.

As a Field Supervisor you will be helping customers improve the energy efficiency of their home. To be successful in this role you will have experience in project management and operations, leading staff in the delivery of in-field projects and implementing strategies to achieve program goals.

Supporting the Energy Conservations Assistance Program (ECAP), you will have a direct impact in improving low-income family housing by helping residents save energy.

The ECAP program installs insulation, ventilation upgrades, draft proofing, AC units, fridges, high-efficiency gas furnaces and heat pumps, all at no cost to program participants.

Job Duties :

Lead a team of 15 in-field staff using technical expertise and operational excellence

Work with a network of subcontractors and suppliers to meet program demands

Implement processes and operations to ensure project timelines are met

Provide technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client and manufacturer’s specifications

Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products

Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve issues

Develop training manuals and train staff to improve quality of work

Implement creative ideas to overcome barriers and achieve program goals

Provide input and status updates to program staff and management

Oversee program and operational budgets

Coordinate with training team on required certifications for employees based upon program guidelines

Skill Requirements :

4+ years relevant industry or residential construction experience

Supervisory experience is required

Post secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Environmental Sciences required

Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Manager In Training (CEMIT) required

Experience inspecting and verifying insulation work and energy impact

Experience working at heights

Experience delivering large energy efficiency programs in residential sector

Experience working with Utility clients and in client facing position

Electrical experience preferred

Valid British Columbia driving license required

We offer a generous compensation package :

Wage : Minimum $36.11 per hour
