Job Description
What You’ll Do :
As ourCustomerService Broker in our Marine Program you will be responsible for working with clients to maintain insurance coverage for watercraft products.
You will be responsible for identifying and addressing our customers’ needs, by providing expert advice and customized watercraft insurance.
You will also be responsible for processing endorsements and cancellations and providing client-focused solutions to customers.
Reporting to the Marine Program Assistant Manager, you’ll be responsible for :
- Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to questions and field complaints from clients in-person, by telephone or email.
- Assist in managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
- Identify and explain appropriate coverage to clients.
- Communicate with clients regarding existing and possible changes to coverage, in-person, by telephone or email.
- Quote changes to existing watercraft policies, process endorsements and cancellations at the request of clients.
- File attachments and conversation notes in the appropriate location according to the workflow (paper files or electronically in Power Broker and other proprietary systems).
- Counsel clients on claims, report claims to the insurance company as required and follow up with the client.
- Assist with cross selling efforts of all lifestyle products and generating leads for home and auto insurance, Explorer RV Club etc
Qualifications
Let’s Talk About You :
This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate :
- Completion of secondary school.
- Registered Insurance Broker (Ontario) with a Service focus.
- Willing to get licensed Nationally (excluding Quebec).
- CAIB, CPIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM or other industry designations an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Power Broker or Epic is an asset.
- Proven experience offering client-focused solutions and building long-lasting relationships.
- Knowledge of the watercraft lifestyle product set is an asset, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
