QA Automation Engineer

Position : Automation Engineer

Responsibilities :

Ensure product quality through rigorous testing and adherence toindustry best practices.

Testinterfaces document results identify trends and escalate concernsas needed.

Recognize deficienciesand coordinate standardization opportunities for internallydeveloped products.

Performtechnical analysis and implement appropriate testingsolutions.

Lead and contribute tothe development of test plans including defining approaches writingreviewing presenting and implementingplans.

Estimate justify andprovide work effort for alltasks.

Document and executeautomated and / or manual test cases to verify system functionalitiesand performance.

Set up testenvironments and conduct whitebox and blackboxtesting.

Develop and maintain atest automation platform (test scripts andframework).

Troubleshoot anddebug applications under test.

Create system test results release notes and other testing anddeployment documentation.

Provideanalysis and feedback to management and relevant departments onrecurring problems recommending improvements to reduce futureissues.

Participate in creatingadministering and updating procedures for issueresolution.

Identify proceduraland policy enhancements to streamline and improve softwaredevelopmentefficiency.

Requirements

Minimum three years of experience in quality assurance or a relatedfield.

Minimum two years ofexperience in test automationimplementation.

Proficiency inSelenium Python Groovy JavaScript and test automation tools such asPostman SoapUI Test Complete andJMeter.

Experience in testingAPIs and web servicetechnologies.

Knowledge of Shelland Bash.

Experience withcontinuous integration tools such asJenkins.

Basic knowledge ofNetworking.

Familiarity withGitHub Git Jenkins JIRA andZephyr.

Experience in VoIPprotocol and legacy telephony is anasset.

Knowledge of Cloudenvironments is anasset.

• Basic knowledge ofNetworking. - Familiarity with GitHub, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, andZephyr. - Experience in VoIP protocol and legacy telephony is anasset.
• Knowledge of Cloud environments is an asset.
