I am currently recruiting an Electrical / Automation Engineer - 40H / week for one of my clients, a company specializing in metallurgy, located in Montreal East.
Your function
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Analyze equipment reliability and identify potential problems
- Develop appropriate electrical and instrumentation solutions
- Optimize equipment to improve productivity
- Design electrical diagrams and control systems
- Deploy and commission new automated equipment
- Participate in PLC programming
- Calibrate equipment
- Write reports on changes made
- Update electrical documentation
- Execute health, safety and lockout programs
- Collaborate with maintenance and production departments to ensure proper implementation of projects

Your profile
- At least 3 years' experience in electrical engineering and / or automation
- Experience in reading electrical drawings
- Experience with programmable controllers
- BAC in automated production engineering or BAC in industrial engineering
- ING or CPI in progress
- Professional English

Salary
90K to $110K depending on experience
