Express Employment Professionals in Delta, BC is looking for a bright, energetic person as a Receptionist / Front Coordinator / Office Assistant.

The Receptionist is generally the first contact for our clients and associates, so a cheerful, polite demeanor is a must! The ideal candidate is someone who understand the Gatekeeper / Assistant role in a pleasant demeanor and able to change with the needs of the office at a moment’s notice.

Express Employment Professionals offers initial and ongoing training / conferences to attend for its employees and there are opportunities for growth of responsibilities and roles with the company if the candidate shows initiative.

Limited office experience is invited to apply as well.

Responsibilities :

Answer telephones / take responsibility to deal with each person if possible, greet visitors, administer employment forms & skills evaluations.

Take charge of the front office flow of interviewees and phone calls as needed.

  • Dealing with associates with tact and solve issues that arises - take responsibility up front as to protect the time of the Staffing Consultants.
  • Support Staffing Consultants as needed i.e. calling out to associates to fill positions as needed.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned which will include but not limited to data entry of payroll / basic accounting which we will train.

Requirements :

  • Able to multi-task, work in a fast paced office and be a self-starter when the office is quiet.
  • Excellent telephone manner be a Gatekeeper but be helpful to the associates to the extend necessary to help our company.
  • Able to be flexible to support the team and understand the urgencies of the office.
  • Energetic, positive people person
  • While doing tasks at hand and yet have the ability to look at the bigger picture of this role.
  • Must be able to work with a wide range of personalities in a courteous, effective, and professional manner
  • Able to accept work related criticism and not take things personally
  • Must have team spirit
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Typing : min 50wpm
  • Computer Literate
  • Experience with basic office equipment : copier, fax machine, telephone system
  • Min High School Diploma
  • Clear, articulate English (spoken & written)

Workdays : Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Pay is $18 to $22 depending on experience. Benefits after meet probationary requirements.
