About Dealer Security

Dealer Security provides physical security built for automotive dealerships. We deliver AI powered video surveillance with live monitoring, guard and police dispatch, and KEYper electronic key control systems to dealerships across Canada. We work only in the dealership vertical, and our client relationships are built on technical credibility and consistent service delivery.

We are the exclusive Canadian distributor for KEYper Systems and an approved seller through OEM purchasing programs. We have representation across Canada, a large installed base of KEYper cabinets in the West, and field support available in Alberta and British Columbia.

The Role

The Western Canada Sales Representative is responsible for new business development and account growth across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

You will generate profitable revenue through inside and outside sales by prospecting dealerships and dealer groups, building relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, and Fixed Operations leaders, presenting solutions, and closing business.

You Will Sell

KEYper key control systems and AI-powered video surveillance solutions with live monitoring, guard dispatch, and police dispatch.

What You Will Do

• Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting, referrals, networking, and field sales activities.
• Qualify leads and recommend the right solution for each customer.
• Prepare quotes and proposals, maintain accurate CRM records and customer information, negotiate within approved guidelines, and close new business.
• Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, presentations, demos, and site assessments.
• Represent Dealer Security at trade shows, industry events, and dealer association functions.

Working With the Team

• Coordinate campaigns, events, sales materials, and lead follow-up with the Manager, Operations & Customer Engagement.
• Coordinate product availability, delivery, and issue resolution with Operations.
• Work with Technical Support to confirm customer requirements and solution fit.
• Share customer, market, and competitor insights with the team.

What We Are Looking For

Experience

• 3+ years of B2B field sales experience with a proven record of meeting quota and closing new business.
• Automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with security, key control, access control, or other technical solutions is an asset.
• Comfortable conducting technical demos and site walks with dealership leadership.

Requirements

• Lives in or near Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel throughout Western Canada, including overnight travel and attendance at trade shows in Canada and the United States.
• Self-directed and organized while working remotely.
• Disciplined with CRM and sales activity.
