Our client is a leading engineering firm that designs specialized testing equipment for clients around the world. They are seeking skilled Shipper / Receviers for their state of the art facility in Maple Ridge, British Columbia .

Job Description :

As a Shipper / Receiver, you will play a crucial role in the efficient flow of materials within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include safely handling, transporting, and organizing materials to ensure timely production and delivery.

• Competitive salary ($46,000 - $49,000 depending on experience)

Key responsibilities as a Shipper / Receiver :

• Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in designated storage areas.
• Accurately pick and pack materials for production orders and shipments
• Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of material movements
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill material requests and ensure seamless production processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and compliance with company standards
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, verifying shipments against packing lists

What you will need :

• Proven experience as a Shipper / Receiver or Material Handler
• Valid forklift certification and experience in operating material handling equipment is preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and maintaining records.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
