Brand Manager-Oncology/Rare Disease

Summary of Job :
The Canadian Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing successful launch and post-launch brand plans and programs.
Essential Functions :
- The Brand Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of promotional strategy and tactical plans with a focus on key customer targets.
- Partner with internal and external teams to ensure strategic alignment across functions and seamless rollout of launch and post-launch marketing activities.
This includes print and digital materials as well as programs such as ad boards, patient support programs, and working with medical, Pricing, and Market Access, and the sales organization to support the effective delivery of speaker programs, congresses, literature management, fulfillment, etc.
- Utilize customer and marketplace insights to identify, develop, and execute business initiatives.
- Maintain productive external relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, Congress leadership, and patient advocacy groups.
- Lead and gain approval for marketing strategies and tactics through the internal review processes and ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Effectively manage the operational brand budget.
- Effectively lead and manage external agencies.
- Collaborate with sales training to develop new training programs and sales meetings that drive execution of brand messaging, including leading POA and NSM marketing efforts.
- Adhere to all company policies and legal, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
Job Requirements : Education
Education
Bachelor’s Degree is required. An MBA is a plus.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical marketing. Experience in Oncology / Rare Disease preferred. Budget and vendor management.
Team player Expert understanding of Canadian pharmaceutical IMC Code of Conduct, legal, and regulatory requirements Outstanding leadership, team management, and presentation skills Launch experience a plus.
Sales and market research experience a plus
Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Non-Technical Skills
